Spring Pastels Wedding Inspiration

I feel like I’m a bit slow in posting this, it feels like it’s been spring for weeks now! We all know that spring brings some of the most beautiful flowers. I wanted to take a play on some of those pastel florals and create an inspiration board around Spring Pastels. I’m so inspired by the colours of the season, but I know that heaps of flowers aren’t in everyone’s budget (but I couldn’t leave them out all together because… well, they’re gorgeous!).

Spring Pastel Wedding Inspiration

ONE: This white on white cake gives you all the spring floral feel without any real flowers.

TWO: A light pink cocktail and sprigs of lavender bring a touch of feminine pastel to this outdoor wedding. You can find dried lavender in bulk which would make this classy touch affordable.

THREE: If you weren’t already in love with watercolour wedding invitations, I’m sure you will be after scrolling through this page. It’s actually a DIY tutorial to dress up plain white invitations before printing! I might be a bit bias, but I think a soft lavender colour would look fabulous in watercolour 😉

FOUR: Part of the beauty in pastel weddings is you don’t need to pick just one! They all look incredible together. This bride chose to have her bridesmaids in pastel dresses of their choosing.

FIVE: Or you could have all the dresses match. But really this photo is in here for the stunning pastel bouquets. If you’re not going to do many flowers at your wedding, you can afford to pay extra attention to the ones you do choose to have! Green, yellow, pink, purple, and white all make an appearance in these wild bouquets.

SIX: Paper party supplies are incredibly on trend right now. Remember our Saint Patrick’s Day Party? Swap out the green for some lovely pastels and you can get the spring feeling without dropping a fortune on florals!

SEVEN: Another trend that I absolutely cannot find fault in? Macarons. They’re delicious and beautiful to look at, especially when they’re tinted with soft pastels and adorned with mini roses. If I was at this wedding, you know where you could find me camped!

EIGHT: This simple boutineer  brings in just a touch of pastel, and that tie? Men take note!

NINE: Last but not least, we Love (capital because it’s just that good) this pop of pastel colour inside an all white cake! What a fun surprise for guests!

My total favourite out of these would have to be those lilac stems in the cocktails. It’s such a simple detail that kicks up the class! What’s your favourite? And how do you feel about pastels? Do you love the trend to mix and match or would you stick with just one or two pastel tones?
