Part Time Day Time & Night Time Delivery & Warehouse Helpers (Contract Positions) 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for awesome team members to assist us with our deliveries, retrievals and various projects and cleaning around the warehouse as assigned. That means riding shotgun for deliveries and retrievals, and helping to keep our life organized in the warehouse and in transport..

Alongside our drivers and warehouse team members, you will be the face of our company on deliveries and pick-ups. We are looking for someone who cares about legendary customer service with a passion for providing exceptional client experiences. This includes a professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication.

You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Warehouse Manager, Fleet Supervisor, Logistics & Warehouse Department.

RATE OF PAY:

$20.00/hour during regular hours (5:00 a.m to 9:59 p.m)

$30.00/hour during after hours (10:00 p.m to 4:59 a.m)

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position runs until October 2023, with the possibility of extension. Please anticipate around 10 – 30 hours of work per week (might vary depending on volume of work).

Must be available some weekdays, most, if not all weekends and long weekends (can range from 5:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m or 5:00 p.m to 4:00 a.m). Due to the nature of our business, the time of work will depend on the event bookings and delivery schedule.

Days can vary from a single task to a full day. Flexibility is key!

Please Note: This is a labor intensive position, so you must be physically able to work on your feet while lifting heavy objects during your shifts.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Loading, unloading and moving inventory by hand, dolly, or basic material handling
  • Verifying orders as described on fulfillment and restock
  • Organize and load orders on trucks
  • Assist the driver to safely drive and reverse during delivery/retrieval for all size trucks
  • Assist in will-call orders (pick-ups and returns)
  • Assist Bigs Inventory Care 
  • Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and Office Team to ensure smooth processes and happy clients
  • Wedding, Event, Home Staging, & Interior Decor simple set ups (including, but not limited to: loading, unloading, packing/unpacking items, setting up arches, backdrops, assembling furniture pieces, such as beds, couches, chairs, tables, desks, shelving, etc.)
  • Wedding, Event, Home Staging & Interior Decor tear down (carefully disassembling, & re-packing decor, loading & unloading)
